Satnam, I'm Rajbir Kaur
yoga teacher & social justice activist;
creating positive change with kindness and courage.
I was first introduced to Ashtanga Yoga at university, I was going
through a very difficult time personally and my experience of
the practice was incredibly grounding, each class was a
meditation where I connected with myself and learned to heal.
As powerful as it was, I didn’t actually think about continuing
yoga at all once I completed my degree. In some ways my
journey on this path has been entirely unexpected and
surprising, in other ways it was always meant to be.
I experienced my first taste of Kundalini Yoga in a
beautiful retreat centre in Cambodia. I found aspects
of it very challenging and when we meditated at the
end of the class I had a huge emotional release, it was
unforgettable. When I found myself back home after months
of travelling I started attending a regular KY class, but still felt
unfulfilled in my day to day work. I was searching for meaning
and purpose, after a trip to a yoga festival in the desert
mountains of New Mexico, I signed up to teacher training.
I’m based in the Midlands and have a career working in the charity sector, managing projects and empowering others, with a vision to create a more equal society. My blog is a space for reflection and growth, shared with practical suggestions and life-affirming experiences. I express thoughts and findings on my journey, to help others on theirs. I have completed over 300 hours of trainings and have a passion to teach yoga! My classes are joyful and flowing, and offered with ancient wisdom of chakras, meridians and so much more. It’s humbling to share this magical experience, and I can’t wait to connect with you.
Lots of love
